Karla is a graduate in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from La Salle University, bringing a diverse background that includes experience in childcare, customer service environments, and reentry work. She is passionate about supporting individuals across different settings and helping people navigate growth and transition.
Karla volunteered with New Leash on Life USA, supporting both reentry and adoption initiatives. That experience led her to continue with the organization in a professional role. She loves dogs and strongly believes in the benefits of animal-assisted therapy, seeing how interactions with animals can reduce stress, provide emotional support, and foster positive connections for individuals navigating challenging circumstances. Karla is committed to creating spaces where individuals feel respected, supported, and empowered.
