John is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of M, LLC, a Philadelphia-based advertising agency. M is a strategically driven and creative boutique agency specializing in brand building, print, Internet, radio and broadcast advertising. The executive team of M has more than 60 years of marketing experience. The agency is assisting some of the best-run companies in the Philadelphia region in building their brands like Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Firstrust Bank, W.L. Gore and AstraZeneca.
John is also the Founder and Chairman of The Marketing Department Worldwide, LLC, the nation’s first retail marketing agency targeted at the 28 million small businesses.
Prior to launching M and the Marketing Department, Mr. Cooley was the Co-Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of a communications holding company, Integrated Marketing Communications, LLC. In the company’s portfolio were a commercial printing company, a graphic design firm, a public relations firm, a promotional marketing firm and a healthcare advertising agency. The company was sold in 2003.
John Cooley has over 20 years of experience in branding, advertising, business development, sales and marketing. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a degree in economics and marketing. John was a four-year varsity football letter winner.
While at Delaware, John was a lifeguard in Sea Isle City and served as Lieutenant of the Sea Isle Beach Patrol for 3 years.
John resides in Chadds Ford, PA with his wife, Susan and their 3 children, Jack, Katie and Caroline.
