Dianne Engle serves as Vice President of Operations and brings a deep background in nonprofit operational leadership, organizational administration, and collections stewardship. Before joining New Leash, she was Director of Operations at the Civil War Museum of Philadelphia, where she oversaw day-to-day business functions, supported cross-departmental initiatives, and helped advance the museum’s mission through efficient operational planning. During her tenure there, Dianne first met Marian, the founder of New Leash, beginning a professional relationship grounded in shared commitment to mission-driven work. Earlier in her career, Dianne served as Library Director at the Camden County Historical Society, where she managed library operations and preserved an extensive archive of thousands of manuscripts, photographs, books, maps, and other research materials. In that role, she provided strategic oversight of collection care and access, coordinated administrative and research support, and ensured responsible handling of historically significant resources.
