Anne discovered her passion for animal welfare while volunteering at ACCT Philly. Motivated to understand why so many dogs end up in shelters, she made the bold decision to leave corporate life and become an Animal Protection Officer. On the front lines of community outreach, rescue, and education, Anne gained firsthand insight into the challenges both people and animals face. Through this work, she found deep alignment with New Leash on Life USA’s mission to support individuals on both sides of the leash.
Anne is certified in Animal Control, Fear Free Shelters, and CARE’s REDI (Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) program. She is also trained in Large Animal Emergency Rescue as well as Animal Handling and Capture.
